Louis Arthur Charles was the chosen name for the newest arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Just 31 property sales took place over the last year across the UK on streets including ’Louis’, making it the most exclusive of all our names.

Looking at the full names of Princes Charles, William, George, Louis and Princess Charlotte reveals that over the last year properties sold on streets bearing all the names, with the exception of Louis, exceed the UK average house prices of £225,047.

Properties sold on streets bearing George attract by far the highest price premium, and George also tops the popularity league. Over 1200 sales have taken place on streets bearing this name, Charles taking second place and William third.

Louis, a name the new Prince shares with both his brother and father, and perhaps one that may now become more popular for new housing developments over the coming years.
